Replacing the wax filters on your hearing aids
Hopefully these short videos should set you up for many happy and successful wax guard (filter) changes. Here’s how to change the wax guards on most Receiver in Canal and Concealed in Canal Hearing Aids. We’ll be adding videos of each of the manufacturer models over time. Although, most hearing aids follow a fairly similar pattern. So, these should help you. As always, any problems, please do call us on : 0330 230 3333.
Replacing the wax guard/filter in a Receiver in Canal Hearing Aid
Written Instructions
1: Take the correct wax guard/filter system (generally a Cerustop)

2: One end will have an empty nipple, the other end will have the new wax filter on it

3: Place the nipple into the end of the used wax guard on your Receiver in Canal Hearing Aid.

4: Ease the old wax guard/filter out

5: Turn the Cerustop stick around and place the new wax filter/guard into place

6: Discard the used Cerustop stick to avoid future confusion

Written Instructions
1) Take the correct wax protection (usually a Cerustop stick system

2) One end will have an empty nipple, the other end will have th e new wax filter on it
|
3) Place the nipple into the end of the used wax guard on the conceled I canal hearing aid
|
4) Ease the old wax guard/filter out
|
5) Turn the Cerustop stick around and place the new wax filter/guard into place
|
6) Discard the used Cerustop stick to avoid future confusion
